As a part of this incredible work, the Program Design and Advisory Services team draws on our deep understanding of people on low incomes, innovative product and service design, and highly effective program delivery. Our specialist advisors, consultants and analysts work across sectors to provide advice on building the financial resilience and financial wellbeing of individuals and businesses and providing financial services to people on low incomes across Australia and internationally.

What will be your key focus?

The Client Experience and Co-design Consultant will support the Advisory team to design and deliver capacity building services in areas of Good Shepherd Microfinance expertise including financial wellbeing, financial inclusion, financial resilience and financial capability. The Client Experience and Co-design Consultant will be responsible for executing on this core aspect of the Advisory revenue generation activities including creating and delivering high quality program content, managing key stakeholder relationships, managing projects on time and within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.

The person in this role will develop program design using data analysis, researching best-practice, conducting human centred design processes, and Living Lab participatory co-design approaches to develop programs in areas of Good Shepherd Microfinance expertise including financial wellbeing, financial inclusion, financial resilience and financial capability.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience facilitating human-centred design or participatory co-design (Living Lab) processes.
  • Strong facilitation experience. Capacity to work with individuals and groups across a range of backgrounds will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience working in areas related to financial exclusion, financial resilience, financial wellbeing and financial capability. Previous experience designing and delivering capacity building programs will be highly regarded.
  • Project management and relationship management experience providing high-quality project delivery within resource and time constraints; experience providing professional consulting services to a range of stakeholders across multiple sectors, will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, and demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to develop evidence-based advice.
