Communications Volunteer – Financial Inclusion Action Plans

This role offers an exciting volunteering opportunity to support the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP) Program, an innovative collaboration being led by Good Shepherd Microfinance on behalf of the Australian Government, in partnership with the Centre for Social Impact (UNSW) and EY. The FIAP program works with a range of key stakeholders from organisations (Trailblazers) across multiple sectors (business, government, academia and community) to implement practical actions that realise financial inclusion and resilience for their clients, staff, suppliers and community partners. What will be your key focus?

Under the supervision and development provided by the General Manager Advisory and the FIAP Program Consultants, the primary purpose of this volunteer role is to assist the FIAP team with in preparing program-related content, communications and engagement. This could include client case-studies, material for the website and social media, as well as some materials for participating stakeholders.


What about you?

You have just completed your Communications degree and have a natural interest in financial exclusion, financial resilience, financial capability and wellbeing in Australia. You would like to develop content for a wide range of audiences and are eager to learn to interact with various stakeholders across the program.
