The business of partnerships

How do we ensure partnerships achieve outcomes that are beneficial to both parties, as well as the wider community? This panel at the 2016 National NILS Conference discussed the best way to harness the expertise of partners to make a positive social impact.

Hosted by Money Magazine’s Effie Zahos, the panel included Tim O’Leary, Chief Sustainability Officer at Telstra, Ben Gales, CEO of Social Enterprise Australia and member of the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership, Vicki Mullen, General Manager Consumer Relations and Market Development at the Insurance Council of Australia, and Helen Steel, Executive Director of Shared Value Project.

The 2016 National NILS Conference, held at Adelaide Oval over the 7th and 8th of June, was attended by 300 delegates working in the area of inclusive finance, including representatives from the not-for-profit, business and government sectors.
