These organisations complete a comprehensive accreditation and training process which enables them to deliver microfinance and, in some cases, insurance programs to people on low incomes.
Each provider shares our commitment to enable clients to define and realise their own financial wellbeing through a process that treats people with dignity and respect.
Our network also provides valuable feedback on our products and services, and insight into issues impacting people on low incomes.
With an ambitious goal of reaching 1 million people by 2018, we’re always looking for ways to grow the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). One of the most effective ways we can reach more people is by accrediting new providers that are well established in their communities.
Community organisations may apply for operational funding for the three year period beginning July 2017. The application period opens on March 23, 2017 and closes at midnight April 30, 2017. Visit our Grant Application page for more information.
If your organisation is interested in becoming a NILS provider, please call Candice Charles, National Microfinance Manager.
