Peggy urgently needed a bigger car to transport her children, grandchildren and four foster children. She approached Rosemount Good Shepherd Australia for a low interest StepUP loan.
During the loan process, the microfinance workers were able to help Peggy clear up an old credit default she didn’t know about. They also helped her switch from expensive funeral insurance to a more cost-effective prepaid funeral plan.
With her StepUP loan, Peggy was able to buy a second-hand car that fit her family, and is now looking at moving from an expensive Radio Rentals contract for her fridge, to buying one outright with a NILS loan. The sun is shining brightly again on this happy family!
